Press release: Czech team for a game against Russia

16.3.2005 - Prague

Czech Republic takes on the Russia in the third game of this year's FIRA-AER European Championship programme. The game kicks-off on Saturday, March 19, at 14 hours CET at Stadion Josefa Kohouta in Říčany.

The ground is still partly covered with snow and ice but daily temperature heights of about 15°C help the thawing process. CSRU officials named alternative locations for the game - RC Sparta ground in Prague 9 and Stadion Pratelstvi in Prague 5.

Czech team coach, Frenchman Christian Galonnier, named a selection for the this year's third game of the Divison A of the European Championship.

Jan Rohlik returns to the squad after illness, replacing Zdenek Zak. Still injured are forwards Suster, Stastny. There are also about ten names on the long term injury list.
