Czech squad for game in Russia

Czech second-rower Jan Kurka, playing in French team Bordeaux-Begles returns after two and half years to the squad. Unfortunately, his boost is marred by a lengthy absentee list, including the head coach. Game kicks-off at 14:00 local time, 11:00 GMT.

The team arrived in Krasnodar  after lengthy travel this morning at 6am.

List of players not travelling with the team for various reasons: Souček, Rapant, Šťastný, Šuster, Weber, Voves, Žíla, Pekáček, Vondrášek, Macháček, Dosedla, Krejčí, Čamrda, Brabec, Jágr, Kolář. Coaches Galonnier, Michovský and Krützner Jr are not with the team either.

Josef Fatka, forwards coach, is the only coach travelling with the team. He named Japan-based Martin Kafka captain for this game.
