Czechs lose in Russia, 52-12

13.11.2005 Weakened team no match for motivated Russians

Czech team weakened by an absence of many key players provided no match for well prepared Russian team in todays European Championship game in Krasnodar today and lost 52 - 12.


„Home team surprised us right from the start. They took the game much more seriously than us. We missed a lot of players and also the preparation wasn't good enough for such game .“ Pavel Syrový, Czech scrum half.
